సహజయజ్ఞా: ప్రజా: సృష్ట్వా పురోవాచ ప్రజాపతి: |
అనేన ప్రసవిష్యధ్వమేష వోస్త్విష్టకామధుక్ ||
🌷. తాత్పర్యం :
సృష్ట్యారంభమున సర్వజీవులకు ప్రభువైన భగవానుడు మానవులకు మరియు దేవతలకు విష్ణుప్రీత్యర్థమైన యజ్నములతో సహా సృష్టించి “ ఈ యజ్ఞములచే మీరు సౌఖ్యవంతులు కండు. ఏలయన వీని ఆచరణము మీ సుఖజీవనమునకు మరియు ముక్తికి కావలసిన సర్వమును ఒసంగును” అని ఆశీర్వదించెను.
🌷. భాష్యము :
సర్వజీవుల ప్రభువైన విష్ణువుచే సృష్టింపబడిన భౌతికజగత్తు బద్ధజీవులు భగవద్దామము తిరిగి చేరుటకు ఒసగాబడిన ఒక అవకాశము వంటిది. దేవదేవుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణునితో గల సంబంధమును మరచుట చేతనే ఈ జగమునందు జీవులందరును భౌతికప్రకృతిచే బద్దులగుచున్నారు. అట్టి నిత్యసంబంధమును జీవులు తెలిసికొనుటకు వేదము సహాయపడును. “వేదైశ్చ సర్వైరహమేవవేద్య:” అని ఈ విషయమునే భగవద్గీత తెలియజేయుచున్నది.
తన నెరుగుటయే వేదముల ఉద్దేశ్యమని శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు తెలిపియున్నాడు. “పతిం విశ్వస్యాత్మేశ్వరం” అని వేదంమంత్రములందు తెలుపబడినది. అనగా జీవులకు ప్రభువు దేవదేవుడైన విష్ణువు. శ్రీమద్భాగవతమునందు కూడా శ్రీల శుకదేవగోస్వామి భగవానుడే పతి యని పలు విధములుగా వర్ణించి యున్నారు. (2.4.20)
శ్రియ: పతి ర్యజ్ఞపతి: ప్రజాపతి ర్దియాం పతిర్లోకపతిర్ధరాపతి: |
పతిర్గతి శ్చాన్ధకవృష్టిసాత్వతాం ప్రసీదతాం మే భగవాన్ సతాం పతి: ||
భగవానుడైన విష్ణువే ప్రజాపతి. అతడే సమస్త జీవులకు, సమస్త లోకములకు, సమస్త సౌందర్యములకు పతియై యున్నాడు. సర్వులకు అతడే రక్షకుడు. విష్ణుప్రీత్యర్తమై ఏ విధముగా యజ్ఞములను నిర్వహింపవలెనో బద్ధజీవులు నేర్చుట కొరకే అతడు ఈ భౌతికజగత్తును సృష్టించెను. తద్ద్వారా వారు ఈ జగత్తునందున్నంతవరకు ఎటువంటి కలతలు లేకుండా సుఖముగా జీవించి, దేహత్యాగము పిమ్మట భగవద్ధామమును చేరగలరు. బద్ధజీవుల కొరకై ఏర్పాటు చేయబడిన కార్యమమిదియే. యజ్ఞనిర్వాహణము ద్వారా బద్ధజీవులు క్రమముగా కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావితులై అన్నివిధముల దివ్యులగుదురు.

🌴 Chapter 3 - Karma Yoga - 10 🌴
saha-yajñāḥ prajāḥ sṛṣṭvā purovāca prajāpatiḥ
anena prasaviṣyadhvam eṣa vo ’stv iṣṭa-kāma-dhuk
🌷Translation :
In the beginning of creation, the Lord of all creatures sent forth generations of men and demigods, along with sacrifices for Viṣṇu, and blessed them by saying, “Be thou happy by this yajña [sacrifice] because its performance will bestow upon you everything desirable for living happily and achieving liberation.”
🌷 Purport :
The material creation by the Lord of creatures (Viṣṇu) is a chance offered to the conditioned souls to come back home – back to Godhead. All living entities within the material creation are conditioned by material nature because of their forgetfulness of their relationship to Viṣṇu, or Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The Vedic principles are to help us understand this eternal relation, as it is stated in the Bhagavad-gītā: vedaiś ca sarvair aham eva vedyaḥ.
The Lord says that the purpose of the Vedas is to understand Him. In the Vedic hymns it is said: patiṁ viśvasyātmeśvaram. Therefore, the Lord of the living entities is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Viṣṇu. In the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam also (2.4.20) Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī describes the Lord as pati in so many ways:
