66. సర్వధర్మాన్ పరిత్యజ
మామేకం శరణం వ్రజ |
అహం త్వాం సర్వపాపేభ్యో
మోక్ష్యయిష్యామి మా శుచ: ||
🌷. తాత్పర్యం :
సర్వవిధములైన ధర్మములను త్యజించి కేవలము నన్నే శరణు పొందుము. నిన్ను సర్వపఫలముల నుండి నేను ముక్తిని గావింతును. భయము నొందకుము.
🌷. భాష్యము :
పరబ్రహ్మజ్ఞానము, పరమాత్మజ్ఞానము, వర్ణాశ్రమధర్మజ్ఞానము, సన్న్యాసాశ్రమ జ్ఞానము, అసంగత్వము, శమదమాదులు, ధ్యానము మొదలగువానికి సంబంధించిన జ్ఞానము, ధర్మవిధానములను దేవదేవుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుడు ఇంతవరకు వివరించియున్నాడు.
ధర్మవిధానములను పలువిధములుగా సైతము అతడు వర్ణించియుండెను. ఇక ఇప్పుడు గీతాజ్ఞానమును సంగ్రహపరచుచు తాను ఇంతవరకు వివరించియున్న ధర్మవిధానముల నన్నింటిని విడిచి, కేవలము తనకు శరణము నొందుమని అర్జునినితో శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు పలుకుచున్నాడు.
శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు తానే స్వయముగా రక్షణము నొసగుదునని ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేసియున్నందున అట్టి శరణాగతి అర్జునుని తప్పక సర్వవిధములైన పాపఫలముల నుండి ముక్తుని చేయగలదు.

🌴 Chapter 18 - Moksha Sanyasa Yoga - The Perfection of Renunciation - 66 🌴
66. sarva-dharmān parityajya
mām ekaṁ śaraṇaṁ vraja
ahaṁ tvāṁ sarva-pāpebhyo
mokṣayiṣyāmi mā śucaḥ
🌷 Translation :
Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.
🌹 Purport :
The Lord has described various kinds of knowledge and processes of religion – knowledge of the Supreme Brahman, knowledge of the Supersoul, knowledge of the different types of orders and statuses of social life, knowledge of the renounced order of life, knowledge of nonattachment, sense and mind control, meditation, etc. He has described in so many ways different types of religion.
Now, in summarizing Bhagavad-gītā, the Lord says that Arjuna should give up all the processes that have been explained to him; he should simply surrender to Kṛṣṇa. That surrender will save him from all kinds of sinful reactions, for the Lord personally promises to protect him.
In the Seventh Chapter it was said that only one who has become free from all sinful reactions can take to the worship of Lord Kṛṣṇa. Thus one may think that unless he is free from all sinful reactions he cannot take to the surrendering process.
To such doubts it is here said that even if one is not free from all sinful reactions, simply by the process of surrendering to Śrī Kṛṣṇa he is automatically freed. There is no need of strenuous effort to free oneself from sinful reactions. One should unhesitatingly accept Kṛṣṇa as the supreme savior of all living entities. With faith and love, one should surrender unto Him.
