40. శ్రీ భగవానువాచ
పార్థ నైవేహ నాముత్ర వినాశస్తస్య విద్యతే |
న హి కల్యాణకృత్కశ్చిద్ దుర్గతిం తాత గచ్ఛతి
🌷. తాత్పర్యం :
శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు పలికెను : ఓ పార్థా! శుభకార్యముల యందు నియుక్తుడైనవాడు ఈ లోకమున గాని, పరలోకమున గాని వినాశమును పొందడు. మిత్రమా! మంచి చేయువాడెన్నడును చెడుచే పరాజితుడు కాడు.
🌷. భాష్యము :
శ్రీమద్భాగవతము (1.5.17) నందు శ్రీనారదముని వ్యాసదేవునికి ఈ విధముగా ఉపదేశము కావించిరి.
త్యక్త్వా స్వధర్మం చరణాంబుజం హరే ర్భజన్నపక్వోథ పతేత్తతో యది |
యత్ర క్వ వాభద్ర మభూదముష్య కిమ్ కో వార్థ ఆప్తోభజతాం స్వధర్మత:
“భౌతికవాంఛల నన్నింటిని త్యజించి దేవదేవుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుని సంపూర్ణ శరణాగతిని బడసినవానికి ఏవిధమైన నష్టము గాని, వినాశము గాని ఉండదు. కాని అభక్తుడైనవాడు తన విధ్యుక్తధర్మములలో సంపూర్ణముగా నిమగ్నుడైనను పొందునదేదియును లేదు.” భౌతికవాంఛా పూర్ణమునకై శాస్త్రవిహితములు మరియు ఆచారవిహితములు అయిన పలుకర్మలు కలవు. యోగియైనవాడు ఆధ్యాత్మికపురోగతి కొరకై అట్టి సమస్త లౌకికకర్మలను త్యజింప వలసి యుండును.
కృష్ణభక్తిభావనను పూర్ణముగా అనుసరించినచో దాని ద్వారా మనుజుడు అత్యున్నత పూర్ణత్వము బడయుననుట సత్యమే అయినను ఒకవేళ అతడు పూర్ణత్వస్థితిని పొందకున్నచో భౌతికరంగమునందును మరియు ఆధ్యాత్మికరంగమందును నష్టపోయినట్లు కాడా యని కొందరు ప్రశ్నించు నవకాశము కలదు. కాని ఈ విషయమున చింత ఏమాత్రము వలదని సఫలీకృతుడు కానట్టి యోగికి శ్రీమద్భాగవతము హామీ ఇచ్చుచున్నది. కర్మనిర్వాహణను పూర్ణముగా ఒనరించని కారణమున ఒకవేళ వారు అట్లు కర్మఫలముల ననుభవింపవలసివచ్చినను వారు ఎట్టి నష్టము పొందబోరు.

🌴 Chapter 6 - Dhyana Yoga - 40 🌴
40. śrī-bhagavān uvāca
pārtha naiveha nāmutra vināśas tasya vidyate
na hi kalyāṇa-kṛt kaścid durgatiṁ tāta gacchati
🌷 Translation :
The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Son of Pṛthā, a transcendentalist engaged in auspicious activities does not meet with destruction either in this world or in the spiritual world; one who does good, My friend, is never overcome by evil.
🌹 Purport :
In the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (1.5.17) Śrī Nārada Muni instructs Vyāsadeva as follows:
tyaktvā sva-dharmaṁ caraṇāmbujaṁ harer bhajann apakvo ’tha patet tato yadi
yatra kva vābhadram abhūd amuṣya kiṁ ko vārtha āpto ’bhajatāṁ sva-dharmataḥ
“If someone gives up all material prospects and takes complete shelter of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, there is no loss or degradation in any way. On the other hand a nondevotee may fully engage in his occupational duties and yet not gain anything.” For material prospects there are many activities, both scriptural and customary. A transcendentalist is supposed to give up all material activities for the sake of spiritual advancement in life, Kṛṣṇa consciousness. One may argue that by Kṛṣṇa consciousness one may attain the highest perfection if it is completed, but if one does not attain such a perfectional stage, then he loses both materially and spiritually.
The Bhāgavatam assures the unsuccessful transcendentalist that there need be no worries. Even though he may be subjected to the reaction for not perfectly executing prescribed duties, he is still not a loser, because auspicious Kṛṣṇa consciousness is never forgotten, and one so engaged will continue to be so even if he is lowborn in the next life. On the other hand, one who simply follows strictly the prescribed duties need not necessarily attain auspicious results if he is lacking in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
