13. తత: శంఖాశ్చ భేర్యశ్చ పణవానకగోముఖా: |
సహసైవాభ్యహన్యన్త స శభ్దస్తుములోభవత్ ||
🌷. తాత్పర్యం :
అటుపిమ్మట శంఖములు, పణవానకములు, భేరులు, కొమ్ములు ఆదివి అన్నియు ఒక్కసారిగా మ్రోగింపబడెను. ఆ సంఘటిత ధ్వని అతిభీకరముగా నుండెను.

శ్రీకృష్ణార్జునుల హస్తమునందలి శంఖములు భీష్మదేవుడు పూరించిన శంఖమునకు భిన్నముగా దివ్యములని వర్ణింపబడినవి. శ్రీకృష్ణుడు పాండవుల పక్షమున నిలిచియున్నందున ప్రతిపక్షమువారికి జయమనెడి ఆశయే లేదని ఆ దివ్యశంఖముల ధ్వని సూచించినది.

🌴 Chapter 1 Sloka 13 🌴
13. tataḥ śaṅkhāś ca bheryaś ca
paṇavānaka-gomukhāḥ
sahasaivābhyahanyanta
sa śabdas tumulo ’bhavat
🌷 Translation :
After that, the conchshells, drums, bugles, trumpets and horns were all suddenly sounded, and the combined sound was tumultuous.
🌷 Purport :
In contrast with the conchshell blown by Bhīṣmadeva, the conchshells in the hands of Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna are described as transcendental. The sounding of the transcendental conchshells indicated that there was no hope of victory for the other side because Kṛṣṇa was on the side of the Pāṇḍavas.
