29. నభ:స్పృశం దీప్తమనేకవర్ణం వ్యాత్తాననం దీప్తవిశాలనేత్రమ్ |
దృష్ట్వా హి త్వాం ప్రవ్యథితాన్తరాత్మా ధృతిం న విన్దామి శమం చ విష్ణో ||
🌷. తాత్పర్యం : చావు కోసం మిడతలు మిక్కిలి వేగంగా మండుతున్న అగ్నిలో ప్రవేశించినట్లే నశించడం కోసం మహావేగంగా నీ నోళ్ళలో ఈ ప్రజలంతా ప్రవేశిస్తున్నారు.
🌷. భాష్యము : యుద్ధ రంగంలో ఏంతో మంది ఉత్తమ రాజులు మరియు యోధులు ఉన్నారు. వారందరూ అది తమ కర్తవ్యముగా పరిగణించి యుద్ధంలో పోరాడారు మరియు యుద్ధరంగంలో తమ ప్రాణములను విడిచి పెట్టారు. అర్జునుడు వారిని నదులు తమకుతామే వచ్చి సముద్రములో కలిసిపోవటంతో పోల్చుతున్నాడు. ఇంకా చాలామంది ఇతరులు స్వార్థం కోసం మరియు దురాశతో యుద్ధ రంగానికి వచ్చారు. అర్జునుడు వారిని, అమాయకత్వంతో ఎర చూపబడి, అగ్నిలో పడి కాలిపోయే పురుగులతో పోల్చుతున్నాడు. ఈ రెంటిలో కూడా, ఆసన్నమైన మృత్యువు వైపు, వారు వడివడిగా పరుగులు పెడుతున్నారు.

🌴 Chapter 11 - Viswaroopa Sandarsana Yoga - 29 🌴
29. yathā pradīptaṁ jvalanaṁpataṅgā viśanti nāśāya samṛddha-vegāḥ
tathaiva nāśāya viśanti lokās tavāpi vaktrāṇi samṛddha-vegāḥ
🌷 Translation : I see all people rushing full speed into Your mouths, as moths dash to destruction in a blazing fire.
🌹 Purport : There were many noble kings and warriors in the war, who fought as their duty and laid down their lives on the battlefield. Arjun compares them to river waves willingly merging into the ocean. There were also many others, who fought out of greed and self-interest. Arjun compares them with moths being lured ignorantly into the incinerating fire. But in both cases, they are marching rapidly toward their imminent death.
