24. నభ:స్పృశం దీప్తమనేకవర్ణం వ్యాత్తాననం దీప్తవిశాలనేత్రమ్ |
దృష్ట్వా హి త్వాం ప్రవ్యథితాన్తరాత్మా ధృతిం న విన్దామి శమం చ విష్ణో ||
🌷. తాత్పర్యం : ఓ సర్వవ్యాపక విష్ణూ! పలు ప్రకాశమాన వర్ణములతో ఆకాశమును తాకుచు, విప్పారిన వక్త్రములు, తేజోమయమైన నేత్రములు కలిగిన నిన్ను గాంచి నా మనస్సు భీతిచే కలతనొందినది. మనోస్థిరత్వమును గాని, సమత్వమును గాని నేను ఏ మాత్రము నిలుపుకొనలేకున్నాను.
🌷. భాష్యము : విశ్వ రూపమును చూడటం అర్జునుడికి శ్రీ కృష్ణుడి పట్ల ఉన్న సంబంధము యొక్క స్వభావాన్ని మార్చివేసింది. ఇంతకు మునుపు శ్రీ కృష్ణుడిని సన్నిహిత స్నేహితునిగా చూసాడు మరియు ఆయన పట్ల ప్రియ మిత్రునిలా వ్యవహరించాడు. అతనికి శ్రీ కృష్ణుడే భగవంతుడు అన్న అవగాహన ఉండేది కానీ, అతని హృదయములో ఉన్న ఉప్పొంగే ప్రేమ, శ్రీకృష్ణుడి యొక్క పరమేశ్వర తత్త్వమును మరిచి పోయేటట్టు చేసింది. తన సఖుడు శ్రీ కృష్ణుడిని ప్రపంచంలో అన్నింటి కన్నా మిన్నగా ప్రేమించటం ఒక్కటే ఆయనకు గుర్తుంది.
ప్రేమ యొక్క స్వభావమే అలాంటిది. అది మనస్సుని ఎంత గాఢంగా నిమగ్నం చేస్తుందంటే భక్తుడు తను ప్రేమించిన భగవంతుడి యొక్క స్థాయిని మర్చిపోతాడు. ఒకవేళ ఆ అధికార స్థాయి మర్యాద ఉండిపోతే, ప్రేమ అనేది సంపూర్ణముగా వ్యక్తమవ్వదు. ఉదాహరణకి, ఒక భార్య తన భర్తని గాఢంగా ప్రేమిస్తుంది. ఆయన రాష్ట్ర గవర్నర్ అయినా, భార్య మాత్రం ఆయనను భర్తగానే చూస్తుంది, అందుకే ఆయనతో సన్నిహితంగా ఉండగలుగుతుంది. ఒకవేళ ఆమె తన మదిలో, భర్త రాష్ట్రానికి గవర్నర్ అన్న భావననే ఉంచుకుంటే, అయిన వఛ్చిన ప్రతిసారీ, లేచి నిలబడి నమస్కారం పెట్టవలసి ఉంటుంది. ఈ విధంగా, ప్రియతముని యొక్క అధికార స్థాయి అనేది ప్రేమ భావనలో మరుగున పడిపోతుంది. ఇదే పరిణామం భగవత్ భక్తిలో కూడా చోటు చేసుకుంటుంది.

🌴 Chapter 11 - Viswaroopa Sandarsana Yoga - 24 🌴
24. nabhaḥ-spṛśaṁ dīptam aneka-varṇaṁ vyāttānanaṁ dīpta-viśāla-netram
dṛṣṭvā hi tvāṁ pravyathitāntar-ātmā dhṛtiṁ na vindāmi śamaṁ ca viṣṇo
🌷 Translation : O all-pervading Viṣṇu, seeing You with Your many radiant colors touching the sky, Your gaping mouths, and Your great glowing eyes, my mind is perturbed by fear. I can no longer maintain my steadiness or equilibrium of mind.
🌹 Purport : Seeing the cosmic form of God changed the nature of Arjun’s relationship with Shree Krishna. Earlier, he had looked upon him as an intimate friend and interacted in a manner befitting a close associate. He was aware in the back of his head that Shree Krishna was God, but the love overflowing in his heart would make him forget the almighty aspect of Shree Krishna’s personality. All he would remember was that he loved his friend Shree Krishna more than anything in the world.
That is the nature of love. It absorbs the mind so deeply that the devotee forgets the formal position of his Beloved Lord. And if formality is retained, then love is unable to manifest in its fullness. For example, a wife loves her husband deeply. Though he may be the governor of the state, the wife only looks upon him as her husband, and that is how she is able to interact intimately with him. If she keeps this knowledge in her head that her husband is the governor, then each time he comes by, she will be inclined to stand on her feet and pay a more ceremonial respect for him. So, the knowledge of the official position of the beloved gets immersed in the loving sentiments. The same phenomenon takes place in devotion to God.
