21. త్రివిధం నరకస్యేదం ద్వారం నాశనమాత్మాన: |
కామ: క్రోధస్తథా లోభస్తస్మాదేతత్త్రయం త్యజేత్ ||
🌷. తాత్పర్యం :
కామము, క్రోధము, లోభము అనునవి మూడు నరకద్వారములై యున్నవి. అవి ఆత్మనాశకరములు కావున బుద్ధిమంతుడైన ప్రతిమనుజుడు వాటిని త్యజించి వేయవలయును.
🌷. భాష్యము :
అసురజీవనము ఆరంభము ఇచ్చట వర్ణింపబడినది. ప్రతివాడును తన కామమును పూర్ణము చేసికొన యత్నించును. అందులకు అతడు విఫలుడైనచో క్రోధము, లోభము ఉదయించును. అసురయోనులకు పతనముచెంద నిచ్చగింపని ప్రతి బుద్ధిమంతుడును ఈ ముగ్గురు శత్రువులను తప్పక విడువ యత్నింపవలయును. భౌతికబంధము నుండి ముక్తినొందు నవకాశము లేని రీతిలో అవి ఆత్మను నాశనము చేయ సమర్థములై యున్నవి.

🌴 Chapter 16 - The Divine and Demoniac Natures - 21 🌴
21. tri-vidhaṁ narakasyedaṁ
dvāraṁ nāśanam ātmanaḥ
kāmaḥ krodhas tathā lobhas
tasmād etat trayaṁ tyajet
🌷 Translation :
There are three gates leading to this hell – lust, anger and greed. Every sane man should give these up, for they lead to the degradation of the soul.
🌹 Purport :
The beginning of demoniac life is described herein. One tries to satisfy his lust, and when he cannot, anger and greed arise. A sane man who does not want to glide down to the species of demoniac life must try to give up these three enemies, which can kill the self to such an extent that there will be no possibility of liberation from this material entanglement.
