31. పవన: పవతాస్మి రామ: శస్త్రభృతామహమ్ |
ఝషాణాం మకరశ్చాస్మి శ్రోతసామస్మి జాహ్నవీ ||
🌷. తాత్పర్యం : నేను పవిత్రమొనర్చువానిలో వాయువును, శస్త్రధారులలో శ్రీరాముడను, జలజంతువులలో మకరమును, నదులలో గంగానదిని అయి యున్నాను.
🌻. భాష్యము : అతిపెద్దవైన జలజంతువులలో మకరము ఒకటి. అది నిక్కముగా మానవునకు ప్రమాదకరమైనది. అట్టి మకరము శ్రీకృష్ణునకు ప్రాతినిధ్యము వహించును.

31. pavanaḥ pavatām asmi rāmaḥ śastra-bhṛtām aham
jhaṣāṇāṁ makaraś cāsmi srotasām asmi jāhnavī
🌷 Translation : Of purifiers I am the wind, of the wielders of weapons I am Rāma, of fishes I am the shark, and of flowing rivers I am the Ganges.
🌹 Purport : Of all the aquatics the shark is one of the biggest and is certainly the most dangerous to man. Thus the shark represents Kṛṣṇa.
