05. శ్రీ భగవానువాచ
పశ్య మే పార్థ రూపాణి శతశో(థ సహస్రశ: |
నానావిధాని దివ్యాని నానావర్ణాకృతీని చ ||
🌷. తాత్పర్యం : దేవదేవడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుడు పలికెను: ఓ అర్జునా! పృథాకుమారా! లక్షలాదిగాగల నానావిధములును, దివ్యములును, పలు వర్ణమయలును అగు రూపములను (నా విభూతులను) ఇప్పుడు గాంచుము.
🌷. భాష్యము : అర్జునుడు శ్రీకృష్ణుని అతని విశ్వరూపమునందు గాంచగోరెను. అది ఆధ్యాత్మికరూపమే అయినప్పటికిని విశ్వసృష్టి కొరకే వ్యక్తమైనందున భౌతికప్రకృతి యొక్క తాత్కాలిక కాలమునకు ప్రభావితమై యుండును. భౌతికప్రకృతి వ్యక్తమగుట మరియు అవ్యక్తమగుట జరుగునట్లే, శ్రీకృష్ణుని విశ్వరూపము సైతము వ్యక్తమై, అవ్యక్తమగుచుండును. అనగా ఆధ్యాత్మికాకాశమునందు అది శ్రీకృష్ణుని ఇతర రూపముల వలె నిత్యముగా నెలకొనియుండదు.
భక్తుడెన్నడును అట్టి విశ్వరూపమును చూడ కుతూహలపడడు. కాని అర్జునుడు శ్రీకృష్ణుని ఆ విధముగా చూడగోరినందున ఆ దేవదేవుడు దానిని చూపుచున్నాడు. అట్టి విశ్వరూపమును దర్శించుట సామాన్యమానవునకు సాధ్యముకాని విషయము. దానిని గాంచుటకు శ్రీకృష్ణుడే మనుజునకు శక్తినొసగవ లెను.

🌴 Chapter 11 - Viswaroopa Sandarsana Yoga - 05 🌴
05. śrī-bhagavān uvāca
paśya me pārtha rūpāṇi śataśo ’tha sahasraśaḥ
nānā-vidhāni divyāni nānā-varṇākṛtīni ca
🌷 Translation : The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: My dear Arjuna, O son of Pṛthā, see now My opulences, hundreds of thousands of varied divine and multicolored forms.
🌹 Purport : Arjuna wanted to see Kṛṣṇa in His universal form, which, although a transcendental form, is just manifested for the cosmic manifestation and is therefore subject to the temporary time of this material nature. As the material nature is manifested and not manifested, similarly this universal form of Kṛṣṇa is manifested and nonmanifested.
It is not eternally situated in the spiritual sky like Kṛṣṇa’s other forms. As far as a devotee is concerned, he is not eager to see the universal form, but because Arjuna wanted to see Kṛṣṇa in this way, Kṛṣṇa reveals this form. This universal form is not possible to be seen by any ordinary man. Kṛṣṇa must give one the power to see it.
